A Quick Word To Newbies About Spamming August 17, 2009

<b>Spamming
The word spam is a four letter word to me, I’m a member of quite a few Network marketing sites and this problem seems to be getting worse than better.
Its beyond belief that these newbies are being taught to join these sites with the sole objective to spam them, they seem to have no shame in blatantly
spamming your comment box, or sending you spam messages. They’re being taught to act like they want to join your friends list and the next thing you know they’re
spamming you relentlessly. I just politely go to their profile and block them. They seem to have no idea that they’re either getting blocked or totally ignored and deleted.
Whoever is teaching these newbies this tactic should be ashamed of themselves because they can actually get them in trouble because its not only annoying, rude, and disrespectful
its also illegal and absolutely ineffective. I suppose nobody is immune, Bill Gates even gets a ton of spam he said. If the pioneer of the pc isn’t immune then what chance do I have?
All I can do is what I’m doing now and thats informing my little part of the online world that I’m involved in. This blog is to let the newbies who are being taught to spam that it can hurt you
more than it can help you.
You’re just coming into the industry and your first act is to join marketing sites and go on a spamming spree? I strongly suggest you read affiliate marketing 101, Google it, its a free download and
might save you a bunch of trouble. Just think about this for a minute, you’re spending huge blocks of time, energy and probably money online completely wasting your time Marketing backwards, being blacklisted
by the people you’re spamming, listening to people who have no clue what they’re doing. The proof of that is, they trained you and look at what you’re doing. I strongly suggest you take the time to learn how to market
before you even begin to attempt to sell anything because from the looks of things you couldn’t sell an umbrella in the rain. Get a sponsor and learn something.
You Don’t Have To Buy Everything You’re Interested In August 15, 2009

Don’t Buy Everything
It never ceases to amaze me why some people think they have to buy into all the biz. opps. they’re interested in when all they have to do is join the company’s affiliate program for free.
Most of these companies have affiliate programs that you can join for free, that way you can better gauge if you can sell it or not. There’s no need to spend money on something that
you can check out for free. It also troubles me to think that a lot of people are joining these downlines and are expected to sell with no marketing experience. Here are a few warning signs
to look out for before you decide to spend your hard earned money on something online.
Its time to step back and really think when:
. Your only experience at Marketing is when you go grocery shopping
. Your sponsor can’t seem to remember your name
. You check your account and its in the negative and you don’t know why
. Your upline seems to be pimping you to buy training materials
. You think a 3way is a sex act
. You get on a 3way and the prospect wants to join under the person doing all the talking
. You go to a convention and there’s a huge barrel of Kool-ade on the stage
. You’re being told that you don’t have to sell anything, it sells itself
. You’re spending more on auto-ship than you’re taking in
. You’re being told that Google Ad-Words is a piece of cake
Of course I could go on till the cows come home but I won’t, my point is that you should plug into a marketing system before you try to sell, any good marketing system will do,
It doesn’t have to be mine.

Training Day
Does it seem like you’re always functioning in a training loop? Are you constantly signing up for and buying training courses
that you never seem to complete? Are you easily suckered in by all these long winded sales letters that guarantee you success If you train with them?
Does it always seem like you’re in the middle of training instead of doing? Do you spend a lot of your time reading training materials and on training calls?
Do you want to know everything there is to know about MLM or network marketing before you start doing it? iF the answer to any of these questions is yes then you have
a serious problem and need help fast. What actually happened to you is that you’re stuck. A lot of people find it comfortable to hide in training because they’re not expected
to show any results.
You’ve turned training into your comfort zone, you’re hiding from getting out there and proving you can do it, the reason I know this to be true is because I did it. Its a way of rationalizing procrastination
and I became a pro at it. It was my fear of failure or my fear of success, I had to implement some SELF tough love. The really sad thing about all this is that most of the training I was wasting my time on was pure
crap that wasn’t designed to give me the whole picture of network marketing, thats how they kept me coming back for more, credit card in hand salivating like a dog with a dry bone knawing at it thinking there’s more meat
and there neve is. They really get you with the guarantees, the trick is that they know you’ll never stick to anything long enough to see it through, making the guarantee worthless.
You see, the guru’s understand their target market. You need to stop making these product creators rich and plug into a workable duplicatible system so you can make some money yourself. I’m not making a blanket indictment against
every product developer but if you’re involved in a training program that doesn’t take you through the paces step by step, you’re wasting your time and money. Thats why I will always sing the praises of Attraction Marketing.
My Blogging Goals August 14, 2009

My Blogging GoalsI’m being trained to make my blogs meet needs, solve problems and help those who read them in some way, thanks to my sponsor and mentor Jordan Schultz.I try to provide tips related to how to use my system. I always consider who will be reading my blogs and what sort of needs they’ll have. Will they be lookingfor information about my company and products? Do they need news from my industry? Do they have specific problems that I may be able to help them solve? You never know who you can help by solving a problem, maybe next time they’re looking to make a purchase they’ll come knocking on your door and tell their network about you. Some will say that I get too personal with my blogs and my answer to that is that there is no one style to write your blogs in, its my blog and I’ve developed my own approach.I like my blogs to lend themselves to a personal style of communication, I don’t design my blogs to sell my company, I let my website do that and my link. If people are interested inwhat I’m involved in all they have to do is click my signature link at the bottom of my blog, I was taught not to use my blog as sales copy, my blogs do something different. My blogs givemy company a face, voice and personal touch. I have no problem talking about my network marketing and online mishaps because I’m human and I think my readers appreciate the fact that I can relate to them.I show that my company is much more than a logo, but a company filled with people just like you who after losing thousands of dollars and wasting countless time online that we have found a workable system thatsworking for us and can work for anyone else.I also try to keep a certain level of professionalism because Google and the rest of the search engines keep things indexed forever, even though you think you deleted things, thats why I keep my standards high. Everythingyou publish online will be on the web forever. I’m not completely down on using a blog to sell if its done correctly, Its ok to use a blog to run sales oriented campaigns as long as they’re useful they can work but the trick isto make the blog more useful than just going into a full force selling attitude. If you’re providing people with value they don’t mind a promotion from time to time, just stay away from the hyped spin talk and you’ll be just fine.I also like to stay consistant with my blogs. I never want to get in a rythm with my blogging and all of a sudden have a prolonged period of silence, that screams inconsistant behavior. If you’re new at blogging, 2 or 3 times a wek is plenty. In closing, blogging isn’t all that hard, if you can post in a forum, you can blog, If you can post in a discussion you can blog.
Backward Marketing August 13, 2009

Backwards Marketing
I just got some mail from a person who asked me to be her friend at a network marketing forum I belong to. I go
to the site to see who this is and look at her profile only to find out that on every question she answered,(tell you later)
this is a prime example of backward marketing. Its obvious that her whole reason for joining that site was to spam the members.
What do you think her first impression told me? It told me more than you’ll ever know, it told me that maybe she was taught this tactic by
her sponsor, if this technique is one of the things some sponsor’s are teaching its no wonder the failure rate is 97% and rising. I was on the
phone with a lead last night and it felt so good and comfortable not to have to be in a selling mode, it was more of a conversation. I was qualifying her
but it wasn’t evident or obvious, It was respectful and productive. People need to get taught the correct way to market without regurgitating their primary business.
With the economy the way it is, there are millions of people getting online daily looking for a business to get into, the question you have to ask yourself is, how do
you want to represent yourself, your product or service. First impressions are hard to beat, the key is to listen to the prospect to find out what their needs are, and
qualify them to find out if you can assist them. Find out what they’re doing at the moment and what they expect from a service or product. The kiss of death in network marketing
is when you constantly try to push your primary business without actually listening to the prospect. Just because a person has a pulse does not mean that the person
will be a good fit for your business, in other words, everyone is not a prospect. And for God’s sake, don’t join these network marketing sites If you don’t plan to be involved.
Fill out your entire profile, upload a picture because there’s no way you’re going to tell me that you don’t have at least one picture to post. People who don’t have pictures
posted in their profiles lead me to believe they either aren’t confident enough to show it or they’re in the witness protection program.
In closing, network marketing is only as hard as you make it, a sponsor that’s compatable to YOU is key, I can’t stress that point enough because there’s no way on earth that you can
do this alone without any direction, even the seasoned vets know that and are working with a team, even the Guru’s work together so don’t think you can fly solo on this because if you
think you can, you’re in for a rude awakening. You have to have people you can bounce things off of, and more importantly there will be some days that you need a pep talk, a motivator.
Good sponsor’s know how to motivate you by encouragement and sometimes a good kick in the rear if necessary. Just use common sense and put yourself in the place of your prospect. Network marketing
isn’t rocket science but we make sure we make it harder than it really has to be.
Runnin For The Hills August 12, 2009

Running fo the Hills
I always get a chuckle out of the way I called myself marketing, I always think back when I was new and didn’t have a clue of where to start. My sponsor told me to make a list of everyone I knew
because we were going to call them on a 3 way. These poor unsuspecting people had no idea that my sponsor was ready to pounce on them like a wild Lion on a Wilderbeast in the African Serengeti desert.
That tactic never worked for me, I’m not blaming my sponsor mind you, he was a pretty damn good salesman, he just had no clue what the other person on the other end of the phone really wanted or needed.
While you’re making those dreaded phone calls to the people you love and shall we say, used to socialize with, how many of them avoid you now like you have the swine flu?
I really get a good laugh when I think about when I learned the 3 foot rule, for those of you who aren’t familiar with this lunacy, it goes a little something like this. Wherever you are, wherever you go, whenever you
bump into someone you know or just start having a conversation with, ANYONE…throw your voice Paul, I swear thats what I was told, talk a little louder than usual so that the person you’re actually speaking with gets a little
deafened, but the people standing near or walking by hear snip-its of your vital, everyone should know this information. How rude is that for a marketing strategy, or to the poor woman you’ve just offended?
This is the kind of garbage that some sponsors are still pushing in this day and age, its amazing. If you’re serious about changing your life with your network marketing business you’re going to have to do some different things, those old stale tactics just don’t work
You’re going to have to identify your target market
know where to find the right people
Learn how to know when a prospect is right for your business
Learn that you can spend thousands of dollars on advertising to the wrong people and go broke
Figure out what people need and want.

Hello, this blog was created to assist and support the new and seasoned network marketers out there that are suffering from information overload. There seems to be a glut of dis-information going on in the network marketing world and I just wanted to help all those who ask for it.
I don’t claim Guru status, I just want to help people learn from the benefit of my mistakes and experience because I’ve been there, done that most likely if it involved wasting money, time, energy and getting ripped off online. This will all be on me, I don’t charge a dime for this information.
This is not a ploy to buy anything from me or anyone else, there will be no sales links here, just pure help. Feel free and comfortable to visit at will and ask any questions you may have and I will do my best to answer them.
